MANY people probably already familiar with Balinese traditional main dishes. However, perhaps only a few people who know this island of the gods typical snack. One of Bali's famous snack is bubuh engine or black glutinous rice porridge.

Although the name of black glutinous rice porridge, Bubuh Injin basically also use white sticky rice. However, the result is a black colour with a sense of sweet and savoury taste that is very inviting. Bubuh Injin can be served with coconut sprinkles on it that increasingly adds savoury flavour. Or with the addition of ice that makes it even more fresh.

There are also restaurants serving Bubuh Injin with the addition of vanilla ice cream instead of coconut milk. Santan still used only in small doses. Coconut milk is poured a little onto the pulp. You could say this is a double pleasure. Apart from the porridge, also from the tempting flavour of ice cream.

Both served cold or warm, Bubuh Injin still tasty and special. Depending on your taste, how to enjoy it. Actually, there is no difference between this black glutinous rice porridge with other black rice porridge. However, different regions, different naming of them.

Bubuh Injin is made from black glutinous rice cooked with brown sugar. As a complement, usually when the presentation is given aren or running thick coconut milk that has been cooked with salt and pandan leaves for fragrance. There are also restaurants that serve Bali Bubuh Injin instead of palm, but gave him a sprinkling of shredded coconut.
